Mr. Barnes is responsible for all non-lending functions of the bank. He helped organize the bank and has more than thirty years of banking experience.
His previous experience includes that of Vice President and Correspondent Officer of Farmers Bank & Trust Company, Georgetown, Kentucky, a subsidiary of Farmers Capital Trust Company, Frankfort, Kentucky, a $1.3 billion bank holding company. His background includes more than 25 years of experience in senior management positions. He has served as President, CEO, Chief Operations Officer, Comptroller and lending officer in several community banks. Additionally, Mr. Barnes served as the Director of Member Services of the Community Bankers of Kentucky, a trade association for community banks.
He has been very active in numerous civic organizations through the years, including leadership positions in the Rotary Club, Economic Development Authority, Lions Club and Chamber of Commerce. Dave currently serves as a Board Member for the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
